Welcome! We fell in love with this spot on Lake Lanier and wanted to share it — the morning light on the water, the deer in the yard and the quiet evenings on the porch. We're an hour away in Atlanta and always happy to help with anything you need.

About these terms

These terms cover using this website and booking The View directly with us. Your stay itself is governed by the rental agreement, house rules and liability waiver you sign after booking; if anything here differs from the signed agreement, the agreement applies.

Booking

  • A booking is confirmed only when your payment succeeds; you then receive a confirmation email.
  • The person booking must be at least 25 years old, stay at the property, and sign the rental agreement, house rules and liability waiver online for the whole group before arrival.
  • The door code is sent the day before check-in, and only once the rental agreement and liability waiver are signed. Until they are signed, we cannot give access to the property.
  • Up to 8 guests in total. No parties or events. No pets unless agreed in writing.
  • While you are paying, your dates are held for about 30 minutes. If the dates are booked elsewhere before your payment completes, we refund you in full automatically.

Prices and payment

  • Prices include the nightly rate, the cleaning fee and all applicable Georgia and Hall County taxes, shown itemized before you pay. There are no booking or service fees.
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • There is no security deposit and no card is kept on file. As set out in the rental agreement, the booking guest is responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Cancellations and refunds

Full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in. If you book fewer than 30 days ahead, you get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. Otherwise, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in, and no refund after that. The cleaning fee is always refunded if you cancel before check-in.

Using this website

  • Photos and descriptions are accurate to the best of our knowledge, but furnishings and amenities can change.
  • Reviews shown on the site were written by guests on Airbnb or by direct guests after their stay. We publish direct reviews after reading them and may hide ones that are abusive, off-topic or include personal details.
  • Please don't copy the site's photos or text without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Disputes are handled as set out in the signed rental agreement and liability waiver.
