This is a great location with access to Lake Lanier. Peaceful location and relaxing. Plenty of room and having access to the lake via a dock was wonderful. Definitely bring your paddle boards and kayaks for a relaxing time on the water. We enjoyed our stay.

Deepti's home on the lake was nice but the long walk to the dock really took its toll by the end of the week and the dock itself is small and cluttered with the owner's things. The top of the dock was open but offered little relief from the sun. The furniture inside the home is stained and worn out and the bed cover in the master bedroom was stained and needed cleaning. The pool table and ping pong tables functioned but only one pool cue worked, and the ping pong table had a broken support. The Cuisinart cooker in the kitchen was very dirty and there was no can opener or dustpan. The furniture on both decks was stained broken and worn out. Overall instructions for the use of the home were incomplete. Great location on the lake but all in all this was not a great buy.

We booked this property on 04/24 and were told we needed to sign a “waiver.” The actual document was not shared until 05/03, after the 24-hour full refund window had passed. It turned out to be a lengthy off-platform rental contract with binding arbitration, extensive legal language, strict rules, and broad liability releases. By the time we reviewed it, our options were essentially to sign or lose roughly 50% of the reservation cost despite being more than a week before the trip. The view is beautiful, but that was the highlight. We arrived with a 1- and 3-year-old to find the house at 83°F due to AC/thermostat issues. The host was responsive, but the upstairs still stayed hot overnight. More concerning was the cleanliness. Within minutes our socks were black from the floors, and I spent over an hour mopping twice myself. There were cobwebs, stained carpets, dirty cookware, and we had to rewash kitchen items before use. Overall, the quality and cleanliness did not justify the price.

Thank you for your feedback. The property description clearly includes the waiver policy, and guests are encouraged to review all details and ask any questions prior to booking. For that reason, concerns raised afterward regarding disclosed information are difficult to address. Regarding the HVAC issue, this was an unforeseen incident that unfortunately can occur at any property despite regular maintenance and care. Cleanliness remains a top priority at TheView, and we take all related concerns very seriously. I will be addressing this matter directly with the cleaning company to ensure our standards continue to be properly maintained.

We loved the view at Lake Lanier. The space was perfect for our family with the kids staying downstairs. The lake was amazing. The location and proximity to Mall of Georgia was great.
